Mothers And Children is a peer group organized to provide encouragement, lend support and honor, uplift, nurture, minister, and ultimately celebrate what moms bring to their families and society by their very existence.
MACH meets on Wednesday mornings during the school calendar year from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the St. John Newman Room (next to the Holy Family Adoration Chapel). We follow the St. Joseph’s School calendar so if they don’t have school, then we don’t meet (including in the case of bad weather.)
MACH 1 is an inspirational, weekly two-hour meeting that encourages wellness and bible study among women. While the material is geared for Catholics, women of all religions are welcome. The first hour is designed for learning and discussing a topic related to the church or to mothers' spiritual, emotional, or physical well-being. Mothers are welcome, but never required, to lead a program after their first year in MACH. After a short break and fellowship, the second hour is devoted to a Bible or Catholic study. Because this group is meant to be a place where moms are fed and uplifted, we do not take on any outside ministry projects and there is no selling of any kind allowed, including home business, multi-level marketing businesses, and outside fundraisers.
We are a group for moms with children of all ages!
Because being a mom is our first and most important job and MACH 1 is a place of support not duty, we do not do outside service projects.
