Parish Summit

Our parish is entering into an important season of prayer and discernment as part of the New Life Planning for Mission process within the Diocese of Crookston. Each parishioner is invited to take part in a Planning for Mission Prayer, Discernment, Feedback Session — a 3-hour gathering where together we will seek the Lord’s guidance for the future of our parish.

This time together is not simply about planning; it is first about encountering Christ in prayer and listening for the voice of the Holy Spirit. Through prayer, reflection, and discussion, we will consider how God is calling us to become a true center of mission in our community.

Session Goals · Provide space for every parishioner to encounter the Lord in prayer. · Learn about discernment and how we can listen together to the Holy Spirit. · Allow every parishioner to feel heard. · Offer feedback on next steps for mission to the Diocesan Planning Commission.

Session Outcome Your input matters. Parish leaders will gather feedback from this time of prayer and discernment and share it with the Diocesan Planning Commission. This feedback will be used, along with other information, to help make recommendations to Bishop Cozzens regarding how parishes and clusters might collaborate or make structural changes to more fully live the mission we have been entrusted with.
