Growing in Faith, Friendship, and the Sacraments
Encounter is our faith formation program for children in grades 2-5, using the curriculum from the Diocese of Crookston. This engaging program invites children to encounter Jesus in a personal way through Scripture, prayer, and hands-on activities that help them grow in their Catholic faith.
Throughout the year, children will explore key stories of salvation history, learn about the life of Jesus, and discover how to live out their faith in daily life. The program is designed to nurture a deeper relationship with God while building a strong sense of community among young disciples.
For those preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist, Encounter provides a supportive environment where faith can take root and flourish. Parents play an important role as partners in this journey, helping to bring the lessons of faith into family life at home.
Schedule
Sessions take place Sundays from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales (601 15th Ave N, Moorhead).2025–2026 Dates:
